Whose Life Have You Truly Touched?

I sit here tonight with a heavy heart.  I learned that yet another classmate from Scottsboro High School passed away.  He was a year younger than I am - much too young to be taken from us.  He had two beautiful little girls who are no doubt heartbroken.

As I read all of the posts on Facebook about his life and memories shared among friends, I wondered whose life have I truly touched?  If I died tomorrow, who would miss me or mourn my loss?  Obviously my children and immediate family, but who else?  Have I made a big enough impact on others' lives to be truly missed?

I read a quote recently that said something along the lines of "each day is a day you can never have back so make sure you exchange that time for something good".  I hope that I've touched enough lives to be missed when I'm gone.  Not necessarily mourned, but celebrated.  I'd like to think that people feel that they are better for having known me.
